Monday:On the first night of the trial run of the night market, the city only allowed 114 registered stalls to operate on Cao Thang Street. However, many street vendors and mobile vehicles, although not licensed to do business, still appeared at many locations. Meanwhile, the city has not been able to manage these stalls.
Mr. Nguyen Truong Linh, living in Vinh City, shared: "It is very necessary for Vinh City to open a night street. Besides creating a shopping, entertainment and recreation spot for the city's residents as well as tourists. However, to ensure the safety of residents and tourists exploring the night street, Vinh City needs to complete the standards of the night street such as traffic flow, security and order, business activities and especially the need to control spontaneous entertainment activities.

Tuesday:Although the city has instructed people to park their vehicles in the basement parking lot of Vinh market. However, at the sidewalk at the intersection of Vinh market (right in front of the night street), some people have taken advantage of the space to park their vehicles illegally, charging money, and causing congestion right at the entrance.

Wednesday: On the evening of September 25, about 1/3 of the stalls were open for sale on the night street. According to records, these stalls have not installed lighting to serve business and trade, but mainly take advantage of the lights on both sides of the street. This makes the kiosks quite "dark", and customers do not have enough light to choose goods.
In particular, many people walking around the streets at night complain that there are too many clothing stalls, while there are no unique stalls that attract young people.

Thursday:Problems such as not having trash cans installed, tourists not knowing about the restroom area... are also issues that people complained about after the test run night.
Through discussion, Vinh City representative said: This is a trial run to grasp the current operational situation at the night street, and it is also the first time organizing so there will certainly be shortcomings. However, the city will continue to renovate and supplement in time to complete the night street when it officially opens and goes into operation.
