6 Cua Lo fishermen escape death when fishing boat sinks at sea
(Baonghean.vn) - Faced with the critical situation, ship owner Pham Anh Son called on his crew to check their protective gear and decided to abandon ship to save people.
At about 5:15 a.m. on September 24, fishing boat NA 80040TS of Mr. Pham Anh Son in Trieu Tan block, Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town was caught in a storm on its way to shore near Ngu island.sink.
At the time of the accident, there were 6 people on board and all were from Trieu Tan block, Nghi Hai ward, including 3 brothers, the ship owner Pham Anh Son and 2 older brothers Pham Van Tuan and Pham Van Hai.

Immediately after the water flooded into the ship, Mr. Son mobilized his crew to pump water but the pump was broken. Faced with the critical situation, ship owner Pham Anh Son called on his crew to check their protective gear and decided toabandon shiprescue people. Therefore, all 6 fishermen, fully equipped with life jackets, clung to the basket boat they brought with them and swam to shore.
After more than 2 hours of struggling with big waves and strong winds, all 6 Nghi Hai fishermen safely reached shore in the waters of Xuan Hoi, Nghi Xuan, Ha Tinh. All 6 people have now returned to their families and are in stable health and spirits.

It is known that the sunken fishing boat has a capacity of 55CV, 14m long, along with fishing gear worth a total of about 500 million VND.
