The giant garbage dump in the middle of the residential area behind Vinh market has been cleaned up.
(Baonghean.vn) - Residents and traders in the area behind Vinh market were happy after tons of garbage were scooped up by excavators and loaded onto garbage trucks for transport. The landscape and environment at the intersection of Roads 2 and 4 in Vinh Tan Ward (Vinh City) were returned to their original state.
After the article "A herd of cows roams freely at a "giant" landfill in the middle of a residential area in Vinh city" published by Nghe An Newspaper on October 24, the next morning, the authorities cleaned up all of the above-mentioned garbage, returning the landscape and environment to their original state.

Accordingly, on the morning of October 25, the local government coordinated with the environmental company to mobilize an excavator, garbage truck and workers to the intersection of Roads 2 and 4 (located between Vinh Tan and Hong Son wards) in Long Chau urban area to collect and clean up the garbage dump that had existed for more than a week. The collection work was carried out urgently but was not completed until nearly noon. After the cleaning was completed, the surrounding households pumped water to clean the sidewalks and roads, regaining a clean living space.

As reported by Nghe An Newspaper, at the intersection of Road No. 4 and Road No. 2 in Long Chau urban area, Vinh Tan ward (Vinh city), a spontaneous garbage dump appeared. The giant garbage dump occupied almost the entire intersection.

This was originally a garbage collection point after the historic flood on October 16-17. However, due to the garbage not being cleared for a long time, coupled with people from other places coming to dump the garbage, the landfill has become higher and larger, causing serious environmental pollution. Not only that, the "giant" landfill has also severely affected traffic here.
