STRIVE TO BECOME A BETTER PROVINCE IN THE NORTHERN REGION BY 2025

At the working session, the Congress listened to comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee present a summary of comments and suggestions on the documents of the Provincial Party Congress at the Congress.

Accordingly, the presentations all expressed high consensus on the documents submitted to the Congress, at the same time clarifying and deepening the situation and leadership results of the Party Committee in all fields and during the past term; paying special attention to proposals and recommendations on issues that need attention and concern in leading the implementation of goals and tasks for the 2020-2025 term in the fields of agriculture and rural development; development of marine and coastal economy; development of enterprises, collective economy; labor, employment, social security; ensuring national defense and security;...

Discussion and suggestions for stronger solutions to build Vinh City into a smart city, a growth engine, an innovation center of the province and the North Central region; improve the effectiveness of tourism and service development, contributing to making Cua Lo town and Vinh city become the growth engine of the province; build Thai Hoa town into a central urban area of ​​the Northwest region of Nghe An.

In the work of building the Party and the political system, comments and suggestions suggest that it is necessary to continue to improve the effectiveness of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo in conjunction with implementing regulations on setting examples for cadres and party members; the work of developing party members, building and consolidating party organizations and the political system, especially in special areas; improving the quality of cadre work and building cadre teams, especially key cadre teams; improving the quality of supervision and social criticism work of the Fatherland Front and mass organizations to actively contribute to building a clean and strong Party and government at all levels.

In particular, the Congress requested the new Provincial Party Executive Committee to pay attention to research to lead and direct the inclusion of the Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress into programs, plans, and projects.

Next, comrade Pham Trong Hoang - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chief of the Provincial Party Office, Head of the Congress Secretariat presented the draft Resolution of the 19th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020 - 2025. The delegates voted to pass the Resolution.

The Congress agreed on the general goal of the new term: “Building a clean and strong Party organization and political system. Promoting the historical and cultural traditions, the people of Nghe An, the will to be self-reliant and the aspiration to rise up; proactively innovating and creating, bringing Nghe An to develop quickly and sustainably; firmly ensuring national defense and security; striving to make Nghe An a fairly developed province in the Northern region by 2025, and a fairly developed province in the whole country by 2030”.
