Handing over 2 gratitude houses to families of martyrs in Thanh Chuong
(Baonghean.vn) - On December 17, the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An province coordinated with Thanh Chuong district to organize a handover ceremony of gratitude houses in Thanh Phong commune.
On this occasion, 2 families were supported to build gratitude houses, namely Mrs. Phan Thi Lan's family in hamlet 5A and Mrs. Tran Thi Uy's family in hamlet 1A, Thanh Phong commune.
Both women's husbands were martyrs in the resistance war against America to save the country. Their graves have not yet been found. Their families are in extremely difficult circumstances and have had to live in a dilapidated, makeshift house for many years.

Faced with that situation, the family of Mr. Trinh Van Long, a successful son living far from home, coordinated with the Association for Supporting Families of Martyrs of Nghe An Province to support each family with 50 million VND to build a house. With the support money and the help of the Party Committee, local authorities, children and relatives, up to now, both families have built and put into use 2 spacious and durable level 4 houses.
This is an activity to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who heroically sacrificed to protect the homeland, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism for the younger generation.
