Handing over solidarity houses in localities

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 87th anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front's Traditional Day, on November 15, the Nghi Loc District Fatherland Front Committee and the Thai Hoa Town Fatherland Front Committee handed over gratitude houses to poor households.

In Nghi Loc,The District Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with Nghi Trung commune to organize the inauguration ceremony and handover of the great solidarity house to the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Tri in hamlet 20, Nghi Trung commune.

Mrs. Tri is a former village cadre, who has contributed a lot to the movement of national solidarity in the religious area. This year, she is 65 years old, in extremely difficult circumstances, poor health, her husband passed away, and her children work far away.

To help her family have a new house, ensuring safety during storms, the District Fatherland Front Committee supported the construction of a solidarity house.

After more than three months of construction, the solidarity house is basically completed. The flat-roofed house is 55m wide.2,Total value 160 million VND. Of which, the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghi Trung district and commune supported 40 million VND, taken from the fund for the poor.

In Thai Hoa Town,The Town Fatherland Front Committee coordinated with the Branch of the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, the Town Police and Nghia Thuan Commune to hand over the solidarity house to Mr. Vu Van Quynh's family.

Mr. Vu Van Quynh’s family in Hamlet 11, Nghia Thuan Commune is in a particularly difficult situation. Both Mr. Quynh and his wife are often sick and are currently raising their 8th grade grandchild. For many years, his family has lived in a dilapidated house but has no means to repair it.

In order to share the difficulties with the family, the Fatherland Front Committee of Thai Hoa Town called for support from organizations, agencies, units and individuals to contribute to building a solidarity house for Mr. Quynh's family.

The house was started in early September 2017, with a total area of ​​52m22, the construction cost is more than 90 million VND. Of which, the Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, Thai Hoa branch, supported 30 million VND, the town police supported 10 million VND, the rest was supported by family, brothers, and relatives; Nghia Thuan Commune People's Committee supported all materials and neighbors helped with construction labor.

Supporting the construction and handover of solidarity houses demonstrates the concern of all levels, sectors, organizations and units for poor households, helping families have stable housing, peace of mind to work and produce, develop the economy and improve their lives.
