Handing over gratitude house to soldiers of Quang Tri ancient citadel in Thanh Chuong

(Baonghean.vn) - On May 21, the Association of Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Soldiers in 1972, Nghe An province, in coordination with Thanh Chuong district, organized a ceremony to hand over a house of gratitude, a "warm home for comrades" to member Nguyen Dinh Vi in Lien Son hamlet, Thanh Lien commune.

CCB Nguyen Dinh Vi is a 4/4 war invalid and was infected with Agent Orange, his family is in a difficult situation. With the attention and support of relevant levels and sectors, the house has been completed with a usable area of ​​over 80 m2, a total investment of nearly 150 million VND, of which 50 million VND was supported by Vietcombank Ho Chi Minh City Branch, the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Soldiers Association in 1972 and the remaining amount was contributed by his family and relatives.

At the ceremony, representatives of the Quang Tri Ancient Citadel Warriors Association of the province, district and local leaders also presented a number of valuable gifts.

The handover of the house is a great source of encouragement to help the family of veteran Nguyen Dinh Vi gradually stabilize their lives, take care of economic development and actively participate in other local activities.
