((Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 13, the Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin of Nghia Dan district coordinated with Nghia Hoi commune to organize a ceremony to hand over gratitude houses to families of victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin.

The house was built on the scale of a level 4 house, with a usable area of 50 m2, tiled roof, tiled floor... with a total construction cost of over 70 million VND, and was handed over to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang in Khe Bai hamlet, Nghia Hoi commune. Of which, the District Fund for Supporting Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin supported 20 million VND; the Commune Fund for the Poor supported 7 million VND, the rest was mobilized from contributions from family and relatives.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang, born in 1986, was disabled at birth due to the effects of Agent Orange/dioxin from her father. In 2006, she got married, her husband was blind in both eyes. The house was put into use to partly encourage and help her family have more determination to overcome difficulties in life./.
