Provincial Party Committee Organizing Committee supports Vinh city in preventing and fighting Covid-19 epidemic

In recent days, the Covid-19 epidemic situation in Nghe An province has tended to increase and become more and more complicated, in which Vinh city is the focal point with unpredictable developments.

To seriously and effectively implement solutions to prevent, combat and control the epidemic, the Party Committee and the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board have seriously deployed documents and instructions from all levels on measures to prevent and combat the Covid-19 epidemic. Thereby, requiring cadres, civil servants and their relatives to set an example in complying with regulations on Covid-19 prevention and control at the workplace and residence.

To ensure both epidemic prevention and completion of assigned political tasks, the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Organization Board have developed and implemented a plan for 80% of cadres and civil servants to work online at home, assigned 20% of cadres and civil servants to work directly at the agency and effectively implemented the "5K" solutions according to regulations. Proactively coordinated with the Provincial Party Committee Office to organize testing and screening for those working directly at the agency.

In particular, to share difficulties and join hands with all levels and sectors during the peak period of Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control in Vinh city, all cadres and civil servants of the Provincial Party Committee's Organizing Committee donated at least 1 million VND to each individual, the total amount of donations this time was 35 million VND. The money was given to the Vinh City Fatherland Front Committee and two wards: Hong Son and Vinh Tan.

Previously, on June 1, 2021, the Organizing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a fundraising launching ceremony in response to the Call of the Presidium of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front on the peak period of COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control and the call "All people unite, make efforts to prevent and control COVID-19 epidemic" of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province with a total amount of 20 million VND.
