Realizing that this was a large drug trafficking ring, the transporters were very sophisticated, taking advantage of the rugged mountains and forests, difficult traffic, and frequently changing the delivery and transportation locations, Quy Hop District Police reported to the Provincial Police leadership and coordinated with the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department to establish a special project to fight.

After implementing professional measures, collecting all evidence and documents, waiting for the "ripe" opportunity until April 21, 2021, Quy Hop District Police and the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, Provincial Police decided to arrest Ly Ba Tra (born in 1999), residing in Pa Khom village, Tri Le commune (Que Phong) while transporting 6,000 synthetic drug pills and confiscated 2 mobile phones. This is a large drug trafficking ring from Laos to Vietnam, with Quy Hop district being the transportation area for the subject to bring to the lowland districts for consumption.

Currently, Quy Hop District Police are investigating and expanding the case.
