According to the complaint sent to the police by Mrs. LKC (H.'s grandmother), because her parents worked far away, H. lived with her grandparents since she was little. Recently, Mrs. C. went to Ho Chi Minh City to work, so H. stayed at home with her grandfather.

On March 27, H. called Mrs. C. to say that she had not had her period yet, so Mrs. C. went back to her hometown to buy a pregnancy test for H. to take, and it showed two lines. After much questioning, H. told Mrs. C. that she had been raped many times by a young man named HTTr. (born in 1979, a neighbor). The girl also said that the young man threatened to beat her if she told anyone.

The family then reported the incident to the authorities. After conducting the professional investigation steps, Binh Tan District Police transferred the case to the Investigation Police Agency (Provincial Police) for further investigation and handling.

When he realized his actions were exposed, Tr. committed suicide by drinking pesticide but was discovered and taken to Binh Tan District General Hospital for timely treatment. H.'s family said that because he was threatened, he did not dare tell anyone about the incident. Only when they saw unusual signs did the family question him and take him to a medical facility for examination.
