On the morning of May 30, entering the third working day, the 27th Congress of Con Cuong District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025 continued to discuss and contribute opinions to the Draft Documents of the 27th District Party Congress; Political Report of the 19th Provincial Party Congress and Documents of the 13th National Congress of the Party.

The Congress also discussed, contributed opinions and voted to pass the Resolution of the 27th Congress of Con Cuong District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025.

The general objectives set for the next 5-year term are: Improving the leadership capacity of Party committees at all levels and the effectiveness and efficiency of government operations; promoting the role of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations; mobilizing and effectively using all resources, and shifting the economic structure towards sustainable development.

Focus on building new rural areas to improve the material and spiritual life of the people. Gradually build Con Cuong into an ecological urban area, with synchronous basic infrastructure, a culture imbued with national identity, a clean and strong political system, stable borders, and soon become the socio-economic center of the Southwest Nghe An region.

The Resolution of the 27th Congress of Con Cuong District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025 also identified 5 breakthrough focuses:

- Promote administrative reform, focusing on applying information technology to management, operation and building the apparatus of the two-level political system in the direction of streamlining, effective and efficient operation.

- Focus on improving human resources, focusing on training and fostering skilled workers to meet integration needs. In addition, pay attention to training and fostering human resources to serve the key economic sectors of the district.

- Mobilize resources for investment and construction of synchronous infrastructure in urban and rural areas, especially transport and trade-service infrastructure. Focus resources on completing Thanh Nam bridge over Lam river.

- Promote the application of science and technology in agricultural and forestry production. Invest in the agricultural production value chain by synchronously implementing solutions and implementing policies to promote the development of forest economy, forest gardens, farm economy, and family farms. Actively develop OCOP products.

- Focus on promoting and protecting tourism resources; continue to call for investment in building tourism infrastructure, firstly focus on removing difficulties in land and premises for Pha Lai Eco-tourism Area; improve the quality of existing services. Focus on developing eco-tourism, community tourism, cultural and historical tourism.

After 3 days of urgent, democratic and responsible work, the 27th Congress of Con Cuong District Party Committee, term 2020 - 2025, completed the proposed programs and contents and closed the Congress.

Introducing the Congress, the Executive Committee of the Con Cuong District Party Committee, term XXVII, 2020 - 2025, promised the Congress and the District Party Committee to promote the tradition of solidarity and collaboration, striving to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted by the Party Committee and the people.

The Executive Committee of the District Party Committee, term XXVII, 2020 - 2025, also requested the district's departments, offices, branches, grassroots Party organizations, cadres and Party members in the whole district to promote responsibility, join hands, unite, concretize and successfully implement the Resolution of the District Party Congress, term XXVII.
