Closing Ceremony of the Traditional Sports Tournament of the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial Agencies in 2023
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of August 31, at Vinh City Gymnasium, the Organizing Committee of the Traditional Sports Tournament of the Party Committee of Nghe An Provincial Agencies in 2023 held a closing ceremony and awarded prizes to participating teams with high achievements.
Attending the closing ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Thi Kim Chi - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Provincial Agencies; Tran Quoc Khanh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department; representatives of departments, branches and sectors.
The 2023 Nghe An Provincial Party Committee Traditional Sports Tournament has 43 delegations with more than 1,000 athletes participating; with 28 football matches, 57 volleyball matches and 28 tug-of-war matches. The athletes participating in the sports have made every effort to contribute to the tournament with exciting, enthusiastic and dramatic moments.
This year, agencies and units continue to have careful and thorough preparations, so the professional quality is improved. The organization is methodical, creating a joyful atmosphere and widespread influence.
In men's football, 115 goals were scored. The final match between the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Department of Natural Resources and Environment was very exciting, attracting a large audience to watch and cheer.
In volleyball, the matches were intense and exciting. In particular, in the final match, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Nghe An Development Bank Branch contributed an exciting match with many beautiful and highly technical moves.
In the tug of war event, a new event of this year’s season, many exciting matches took place, with enthusiastic cheers from the fans. The final match between Nghe An Tax Department and the Department of Transport was very exciting and dramatic.
At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded 3 sets of medals, cups, flags, and prizes to the first, second, and third place teams.
