Closing ceremony of swimming skills training course and drowning prevention for union members' children
On the morning of July 6, Nghe An Civil Servants' Union coordinated with the Provincial Labor Culture House to organize the closing ceremony of the first swimming skills and drowning prevention training course in 2024 for children of union members.
Attending were leaders of the Provincial Civil Servants' Union, the Provincial Labor Culture House and children of union members of Nghe An Civil Servants' Union.

Every year, during the summer, drowning accidents among children occur frequently, taking many lives. This situation leaves behind pain and loss for families and society.
To contribute to limiting this situation and to promote the movement of swimming practice, physical training for children of union members and workers in the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union system and contribute to reducing injuries to children, the Nghe An Civil Servants' Trade Union coordinated with the Provincial Labor Culture House to organize the first training course on swimming skills and drowning prevention.

By participating in the training course, students are equipped with knowledge and skills on drowning prevention, swimming skills, first aid, etc. At the same time, helping children have a fun, safe and meaningful summer.
Unlike previous years, this year, swimming classes are completely free. Each swimming class takes place in a separate, covered swimming pool, with 2 coaches and 2 staff from the Provincial Labor Culture House to support and guide the children in warming up and personal hygiene before entering the pool.

The first swimming and drowning prevention training course was a great success, with over 85% of the students (out of a total of 120 students) basically knowing how to swim and swimming well. At the end of the training course, the Organizing Committee conducted a swimming test for the students to issue certificates of completion of the program; organized a swimming competition and awarded prizes to students with high achievements./.
