According to Ms. Tran Thi Noi (26 years old, Loc Bao commune, Bao Lam district), the boy's mother, at around 3:00 p.m. on July 21, a woman in her 50s, about 1.5 m tall, wearing a mask, helmet, and blue raincoat, riding a white Sirius motorbike stopped by the family's grocery store to ask for directions and asked to go into the house to use the restroom.
About 15 minutes later, not seeing the woman, she ran downstairs and discovered that her son was missing. Ms. Noi immediately shouted for her family and neighbors to run around and search but still could not find the boy.
Bao Lam district police then blocked the roads leading to the commune and took statements from people involved to search for the child, but so far there have been no results.
A year ago, a 3-year-old boy in Da Lat City also mysteriously disappeared while following his father to a coffee plantation. According to the leader of Lam Dong Provincial Police, the search for the child is still at a standstill. "We have sent many experienced detectives to search for the child everywhere, even abroad. There were times when we thought we had found the child but when we got there, it was not. The search is still ongoing," said the leader of the provincial police.
