Authorities counted 106 close contacts (F1) of male workers who tested positive for nCoV at Samsung Company in Bac Ninh.
On the morning of April 13, Ms. Nguyen Huong Giang - Chairman of the People's Committee of Bac Ninh province, said that the above F1 cases were all workers of Samsung Company located in the area. Of these, 42 people have been taken to centralized quarantine, the rest are in the process of being screened.

"Patient 262 travels by worker shuttle bus, taking a different bus every day, so the number of people involved is large," said Ms. Giang. According to Bac Ninh leaders, this patient did not develop the disease at work but "developed the disease in Ha Loi village, Me Linh (Hanoi) - where he resides, and has been quarantined since April 6."
Today, the entire workshop where 'patient 262' worked, including 20 people, has been quarantined, while other workshops of Samsung Company in Bac Ninh are operating normally. "Last night, the authorities sprayed disinfectant at the workplace of the infected worker. Right from the beginning of the epidemic, Samsung Bac Ninh installed droplet barriers between workers, so the safety level is higher," Ms. Huong Giang added.
A media representative of Samsung Bac Ninh Company informed that in Yen Phong (Bac Ninh), the Company has three independently operating factories, which are factories producing screens, batteries and phones. "The worker who tested positive for nCoV works in the quality control department of the screen factory; the Company is meeting to come up with a specific plan this morning," he said.
Patient 262", male, 26 years old, worker at Samsung company in Bac Ninh. On March 27, he had close contact with his uncle, "patient 254". On March 31, he had a dry cough and fever, his sample was taken on April 11, the next day the test result was positive. Currently, the patient is also being treated at the Central Hospital for Tropical Diseases, branch 2.
The number of infections in Ha Loi village has increased to 10. They are recorded as patients 243, 250, 253, 254, 257, 258, 259, 260, 261 and 262. Currently, the entire village with 11,077 people from 2,711 households has been quarantined.
This morning, Vietnam recorded a total of 262 infections, of which 118 are being treated and 144 have recovered.
