Covid-19 patient in Do Luong had contact with F0 more than 2 weeks ago and had a busy schedule

On the afternoon of June 23, the Do Luong District Medical Center announced that it had screened 137 F1 contacts of the first Covid-19 patient recorded in the area. These people have been quarantined and samples have been taken for testing.

Due to the patient's busy schedule, health authorities are still actively tracing and disinfecting many places the patient has been to.

The first Covid-19 patient in Do Luong is a 42-year-old male. Through epidemiological investigation, it was initially determined that the last time this person came into contact with F0 was more than half a month ago.

Specifically, on the evening of June 5, this man was eating at the B52 seafood restaurant in Long Son ward, Thai Hoa town with some friends. At that time, there was a man named NQB (block 8, Trung Do ward, Vinh city), also eating at another table.

On June 21, he went to Cua Dong Hospital for a PCR test and the result was negative for Covid-19. On the morning of June 22, after hearing that Mr. NQB was infected with Covid-19, he made a medical declaration at the town's health station and was quarantined at the kindergarten. That evening, the test result showed that he was infected with Covid-19.

Also according to the epidemiological investigation, from the time of meeting F0 NQB on June 5 until being quarantined, due to the nature of his work, the patient in Do Luong had a busy schedule in Do Luong, Nghia Dan, and Thai Hoa districts. In the past 21 days, the patient has not shown any unusual health symptoms.

Meanwhile, patient NQB (born in 1993, residing in block 8, Trung Do ward) is F1 of patient 11633. Previously, the patient was quarantined at the Thai Binh Duong Hotel quarantine area, Cua Lo town since June 16. On June 19, Nghe An CDC took a second sample for testing and found it positive for SARS-CoV-2 virus.

In the past 10 days, Nghe An has recorded 39 cases of Covid-19. Of these, 26 cases are in Vinh City and 9 cases are in Dien Chau. Tan Ky, Nam Dan, Quy Hop, and Do Luong districts each recorded one case. Worryingly, the source of infection for many cases is currently unknown.
