According to the Ministry of Health, Vietnam records about 200,000 cases each year.stroke, about 50% of which die. Many people are lucky to survive a stroke, but suffer from severe sequelae, even losing the ability to work, creating a burden for their families and society.
Preventing and minimizing the harm caused by stroke, Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hoa - Deputy Director of Nghe An General Hospital also recommends: When there are signs of suspected stroke such as sudden appearance of crooked mouth, difficulty speaking, weakness in one arm or leg... quickly take the patient to the nearest medical facility that can use measures to revascularize the brain (using intravenous thrombolytic drugs, removing cerebral thrombosis with mechanical devices). Taking the patient to medical facilities that lack measures to revascularize the brain will not help the patient any more but will delay treatment and reduce the patient's chances of survival and recovery.
