Caught with 4 heroin cakes, 2 subjects pulled out knives to fight back

When the two subjects were transporting 4 heroin cakes, when they saw the police, they both pulled out knives and fought back fiercely but were subdued.

At 10:20 a.m. on January 9, in the border area between Phi Nhu commune and Phinh Giang commune, Dien Bien Dong district, Dien Bien Dong district police caught red-handed two subjects, Sung A Minh (24 years old), residing in Sa Vua A village, Phinh Giang commune, Dien Bien Dong district, and Vu A May (23 years old), residing in Pu Hong B village, Pu Hong commune, Dien Bien Dong district, illegally buying and selling drugs.

When they saw the police, both subjects pulled out knives and fought back fiercely but were subdued. The seized evidence included 4 heroin cakes with a total weight of about 1.4 kg; 2 cell phones, 2 knives, 2 motorbikes and some related evidence.

At the police station, the subjects initially confessed that they had bought the drugs at the border area and were on their way to sell them when they were discovered and arrested. The case is currently under further investigation./.
