| Fishing with rafts has been a traditional occupation of fishermen in many communes of Dien Chau district for many generations, and still exists today. | Currently, fishermen are still fishing by raft in Dien Chau, Quynh Luu districts, Hoang Mai town... but the most are still in Dien Chau district. Mr. Le The Hieu - Head of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Dien Chau district said: In the district, there are currently over 300 rafts in the communes: Dien Thanh, Dien Kim, Dien Hai. Currently, there are no regulations prohibiting fishing by raft, but the district does not encourage people to develop this profession, because this is a traditional profession of the people for many generations, so people still maintain it.
