On the morning of November 11, Nghe An Provincial Party Committee held a conference to announce the Politburo's decision on personnel work.
The Politburo decided to transfer and appoint comrade Nguyen Khac Than to join the Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, and hold the position of Secretary of the Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term XX, 2025-2030.

Today, I am very moved, honored and proud to receive the decision of the Politburo to assign me to the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee and hold the position of Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030 from Comrade Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary, Head of the Central Organization Commission.

First of all, I would like to express my deep gratitude to the Politburo, the Central Party Secretariat, Comrade General Secretary To Lam and the leaders of the Party, State, and the Standing Committee of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee for their attention, trust, and confidence in entrusting me with the great responsibility of being the head of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee in the new development period.
At the same time, I would also like to express my sincere thanks to the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Standing Committee of Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee; the leaders, former leaders of the province through the periods, and all the cadres, party members and people of Hung Yen province and Thai Binh province (formerly) - where I have worked, been attached and grown up for many years.
Dear leaders! Dear all comrades!
Hung Yen and Nghe An are two lands that share a common cultural source. Hung Yen is the hometown of Hoang Thi Loan - mother of President Ho Chi Minh, the genius leader of the nation; two lands rich in revolutionary tradition.
Right at the peak of the revolution in 1930-1931, when the flame of the Nghe Tinh Soviet movement was burning brightly, the drumbeat of 1930 resounded in the homeland of Tien Hai - Hung Yen, creating a revolutionary epic of the masses in the early 20th century. And today, both Hung Yen - Nghe An provinces are making strong strides, rising up, especially Nghe An province has affirmed its position as a bright spot in economic development.
During the 2020-2025 term, most of the key targets were achieved and exceeded. The economy grew quite well, investment attraction achieved outstanding results, infrastructure was invested in a synchronous and modern direction step by step, key economic zones had clear developments. The political system was consolidated, leadership capacity, management effectiveness and operational quality were improved; administrative reform had positive changes... Nghe An is making strong breakthroughs in all aspects, gradually affirming its position as a new growth center of the North Central region.
As a person born and raised in Hung Yen province, with more than 30 years of working and contributing to the development of Hung Yen, now appointed by the Politburo to hold the position of Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee, I deeply feel the special relationship between the two lands.
At the same time, I am also deeply aware that the task assigned by the Party Central Committee this time is both an honor and a heavy responsibility to the Party Committee, the government and the people of Nghe An province. That responsibility is even greater when Nghe An is a large province with a large population, rich in revolutionary tradition, and is the homeland of President Ho Chi Minh.
From today, in addition to my hometown Hung Yen where I was born and raised, I would like to ask the Party Committee, Government and people of Nghe An province to allow me to become a son of the province. I promise to be dedicated, devoted, make efforts, work hard and consider Nghe An as my second hometown.
I would like to seriously accept the comments, directions and assignments of comrade Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Party Central Committee Secretary - Head of the Central Organizing Committee. In the new position entrusted by the Politburo, I promise to do my best with the highest responsibility for the common development of the province, uphold the Party's leadership principles, uphold the pioneering and exemplary spirit, together with the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to unite, join hands, unanimously, constantly innovate thinking and leadership style, inherit and promote the achievements and valuable experiences of previous generations of leaders, determined to successfully implement the goals and tasks set out in the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.
In the immediate future, I will work with the provincial Party Committee to focus on leading the successful implementation of the socio-economic tasks in 2025, ensuring that the two-level government apparatus operates smoothly, effectively and efficiently, creating a solid foundation for Nghe An to develop rapidly, comprehensively and sustainably, commensurate with the potential and strengths of the locality, striving to become a fairly developed province, a national growth pole in the new era of development, realizing the direction of General Secretary To Lam and Resolution No. 39-NQ/TW of the Politburo on building and developing Nghe An province to 2030, with a vision to 2045, worthy of the trust and expectations of the Party Central Committee, of the Party and State leaders and of all classes of people in the province and with the sacred advice of President Ho Chi Minh for his homeland "Great loyalty, great affection".

To complete those tasks, I respectfully request and hope to continue to receive the attention, leadership and direction of the Politburo and the Secretariat; the effective coordination of the Central Ministries, departments and branches; the support and sharing of veteran revolutionaries and former leaders; the accompaniment and coordination of the Central Ministries, departments and branches for the Party Committee and government of Nghe An province.
Personally, I also wish and respectfully request the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Executive Committee, departments, branches, sectors, Party committees at all levels, authorities, and all cadres, party members and people of all ethnic groups in the province to continue to promote the revolutionary tradition, the spirit of solidarity, dynamism and creativity of Nghe An homeland to join hands, unanimity, support and help me to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
Once again, I would like to sincerely thank Comrade Le Minh Hung - Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Organizing Committee, and wish him good health and success in completing the tasks assigned by the Party, State and People.
