Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh meets voters in Hoang Mai Town
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 28, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh met with voters in Hoang Mai Town. Hoang Mai voters made 19 recommendations to National Assembly deputies regarding socio-economic development and people's livelihood issues in the town.
National Assembly delegates included Mr. Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4. Attending were representatives of leaders of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors and Hoang Mai Town.

Before listening to voters' opinions, Mr. Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 announced the results of the second session of the 14th National Assembly. Accordingly, the second session of the 14th National Assembly had 8 outstanding issues that voters nationwide were interested in and many issues related to localities. The National Assembly also discussed many important issues such as the results and development plan for 2017; the economic restructuring plan for 2017-2020; the plan for building new rural areas and the plan for restructuring the agricultural sector; Passed 3 laws, gave opinions on 12 laws...

Petition to National Assembly delegates, Mr. Cao Xuan Thang, a voter of Quynh Xuan ward, expressed concerns about urban construction policies; inadequacies in public investment policies for Hoang Mai town; policies for ward and commune officials; streamlining payroll and land transfer for the paper mill construction project.

Voter Nguyen Van Thao of Quynh Lap commune proposed shortcomings in the criteria for determining poor households, suggested adding criteria for relatives of the subjects of poor household assessment, should cut off regular aid sources for poor households and focus on building local infrastructure to encourage and create conditions for people to develop the economy; create conditions to prioritize children of poor households to have stable jobs.
Voter Dau Duc Nam in Block 8, Mai Hung Ward, requested provincial leaders to step up efforts to prevent the production of dirty food. Accordingly, he suggested that the prevention of this situation should be implemented to every citizen and require the participation of the entire political system.
Voters of Hoang Mai Town also made recommendations on other issues such as: some sections of the drainage ditch along National Highway 1A through the town are blocked; policies for preschool teachers to take one-time leave since 2004; delays in handling some administrative procedures; issues related to policies for payment via post office are still inadequate.

In addition, voters also made recommendations on issues of outstanding debts in new rural areas and shortcomings in building a roadmap for new rural areas; shortcomings in collecting electricity fees; and issues of site clearance for the Quynh Lap thermal power plant project.
Propose to strengthen supervision and handling of corruption against incumbent officials; resolve the delay in payment of policies for the elderly and the regime for frontline workers in the town. The problem of outstanding debts and shortcomings in building a roadmap for implementing new rural areas.

At the conference, National Assembly deputies Nguyen Dac Vinh and Nguyen Sy Hoi, representatives of departments, branches and local authorities explained voters' recommendations within their authority; accepted opinions beyond their authority and submitted them to relevant levels for consideration and resolution.
Regarding the issue of policies for people with meritorious services, the Provincial Party Secretary said that the National Assembly has approved and requested the Government to promptly arrange budget sources to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
