The Provincial Party Secretary requested that the leaders of Hoang Mai Town need to stay close to the grassroots and regularly dialogue with the people.

On the afternoon of May 3, in Quynh Di ward (Hoang Mai town), National Assembly deputies elected in constituency No. 3, including: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; Major General Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4; Hoang Thi Thu Trang - Secretary of Nghia Dan District Party Committee, had a meeting with voters before the 7th session of the 14th National Assembly.

Entering the conference, delegate Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of Military Region 4 provided voters with some basic contents of the 7th session of the 14th National Assembly. Accordingly, the upcoming National Assembly session will take place from May 20 to June 15. It is expected that the National Assembly will discuss and pass 7 bills and 2 resolutions.

Reflecting on the outstanding issues in the area, Mr. Nguyen Duc Xan - a fisherman in Quynh Di ward said that for a long time now, seafood exploitation and fishing have been facing many difficulties, the amount of seafood exploited is decreasing, and fishing grounds are narrowing. Meanwhile, fishing logistics have not received due attention.

Citing evidence of this situation, voter Xan said that the Hoang Mai River - the main shelter and anchorage place for fishermen in the wards and communes of Quynh Di, Quynh Phuong, Quynh Lap... - is increasingly overloaded, one of the reasons being that the river has been encroached upon and become a place for people to dump waste.

Therefore, through this forum, voters request that National Assembly deputies and relevant agencies pay attention to resolving this issue.

Voter Nguyen Duc Xan also requested that provincial and district leaders quickly upgrade and expand Con Temple bridge to ensure safety and convenience for traffic and travel.

At the conference, 9 voters raised concerns about the implementation of the Land Law in the locality. Voters pointed out a number of projects implemented in the area that affected the people's land fund for production.

In addition, voters said that the government and functional agencies of Hoang Mai town have not created favorable conditions for people to exercise their rights and interests related to land, resettlement, granting of land use right certificates, granting of housing construction permits, etc.

Also at the conference, many voters expressed their opinions on issues related to the local traffic infrastructure. Voters said that Provincial Road 537B running through Hoang Mai town has been degraded for many years but has not received attention for upgrading and repairing synchronously.

Regarding healthcare infrastructure and health insurance, voters believe that shortcomings exist in the price of medicines and health insurance payments. Accordingly, some common diseases are not covered by health insurance.

In addition, the people suggested that the National Assembly should have specific and detailed regulations on handling officials who have violated the law but have retired. Only then can we ensure that the law is thoroughly enforced, against the right people, the right crimes, and has a deterrent effect on cases with negative manifestations.

At the conference, issues under their authority were explained and clarified to voters by leaders of Hoang Mai town and departments and branches.

Need to learn from experience in grasping the grassroots situation

Acknowledging the opinions of voters of Hoang Mai town, speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh shared the difficulties that people are experiencing. The Head of the National Assembly Delegation also requested the leaders of Hoang Mai town government to learn from experience in handling outstanding issues at the grassroots level.

According to the Provincial Party Secretary, many issues were raised by voters but the town leaders have not grasped the actual situation and have not adequately answered people's questions. To overcome this situation, leaders at all levels in Hoang Mai town must regularly dialogue with people, in which ward and commune leaders periodically organize dialogues with people twice a month to grasp developments at the grassroots level.

Regarding voters' opinions reflecting on existing problems related to the issuance of land use right and housing certificates, it is recommended that sectors and localities consider handling them in accordance with legal regulations.

Regarding the revocation of projects that are behind schedule and not implemented as voters have requested, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Office of the National Assembly Delegation to coordinate with Hoang Mai town to survey and accurately evaluate to find solutions. Any project that is overdue as voters have reported should be revocation.

Regarding the degraded 537B route, the provincial Department of Transport is requested to study and calculate to find solutions and invest to facilitate the people of the town as well as the whole area.

Regarding other issues, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to collect opinions and submit them to the National Assembly for consideration.
