Party Central Committee Secretary Phan Dinh Trac attends high-level dialogue in China

Delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam attended the High-Level Dialogue between the Communist Party of China and political parties around the world.

At the invitation of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the delegation of the Communist Party of Vietnam led by Secretary of the Central Committee, Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission, and Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Steering Committee on Anti-Corruption Phan Dinh Trac attended the High-Level Dialogue Conference between the Communist Party of China and political parties around the world.

Speaking at the seminar “Party building: Challenges and future of the Party”, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac emphasized that the Communist Party of Vietnam has determined: Economic development is the central task, building a clean and strong Party is the key task. This is an especially important task, of vital significance to the victory of the revolutionary cause, with profound theoretical and practical significance.

The Communist Party of Vietnam also identified: Corruption is one of the major risks, threatening the survival of the Party and the regime. Preventing and combating corruption, stopping and repelling the degradation of political ideology, ethics, lifestyle, "self-evolution" and "self-transformation" of cadres and party members is an important, regular task, both urgent, difficult, complicated and long-term.

Mr. Phan Dinh Trac said that in recent times, with the Party's strong determination, Vietnam has achieved positive results in both preventing and detecting and handling corruption. The anti-corruption institution has been continuously built and improved; anti-corruption solutions have been deployed relatively synchronously.

Previously, Mr. Phan Dinh Trac and the Party delegation had a working session with the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of China, the Central Commission for Political and Legal Affairs, the Supreme People's Procuratorate, the Supreme People's Court of China... to learn about the experience in building and managing the Party in a comprehensive and strict manner and the policies and models of China's anti-corruption agencies./.
