Lacking money to spend, young man committed 3 thefts

On December 18, Quy Hop District Police said that the unit had just successfully broken up a case.theft of property, arrested 01 subject, clarified the amount of stolen property of nearly 40 million VND.

Previously, on December 10, 2021, Quy Hop Town Police received a report from the family of Mr. Tran Thanh B., residing in Quy Hop Town, about a burglar breaking into their house and stealing VND 27,500,000 and some other documents. Immediately after receiving the report, Quy Hop Town Police quickly arrived at the scene, coordinating with the District Police to investigate and verify.
Using professional measures, on December 16, 2021, Quy Hop District Police successfully broke the case, arresting Nguyen Xuan Truong (born in 1997), residing in Block 1, Quy Hop Town, for theft of property.
At the police station, the suspect Truong confessed that due to lack of money for personal expenses and drug use, he committed the crime. In addition to the above theft, also by taking advantage of the dark night to remove the roof tiles and break in from top to bottom, Truong broke into the house of Ms. Nguyen Thi V., residing in Block 2, Quy Hop town, twice on November 15 and 18, 2021, stealing 10 million VND.
On December 17, the Investigation Police Agency of Quy Hop District Police issued a decision to prosecute the case and prosecute Nguyen Xuan Truong for handling in accordance with the provisions of law.
