Provincial Military Command gives money to support housing construction for the poor in Que Phong district

Implementing the Directive of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee on supporting the construction and repair of houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties; the Plan of the Provincial Military Party Committee on implementing the Program to mobilize and support the construction and repair of houses for the poor and people with housing difficulties in Nghe An province for the period 2023 - 2025, in the past time, the Military Party Committee has actively mobilized funding sources and promptly supported many families in many areas with housing difficulties.

At the ceremony, Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command presented support money to the family of Mr. Luu Duc Trung, Phong Quang hamlet, Muong Noc commune and the family of Mrs. Vi Thi Tuyet, Na Cay hamlet, Tien Phong commune, each household received 70 million VND. This amount was taken from voluntary contributions of officers and soldiers of the provincial armed forces and benefactors.

Mr. Le Duc Trung's family in Phong Quang hamlet, Muong Noc commune is considered near-poor. Mr. Trung himself suffered a stroke and is bedridden. His house was infested with termites and collapsed after a long rainstorm. His family of eight is currently living temporarily in the kitchen.

The family of Mrs. Vi Thi Tuyet in Na Cay village, Tien Phong commune is a poor family with extremely difficult circumstances. Their house has long been infested with termites and is at high risk of collapsing. Both families do not have the means to repair or rebuild it.

In order for the two houses to be completed on time, ensuring quality and soon put into use, the Commander of the Provincial Military Command requested the District Party Committee and People's Committee of Que Phong District to pay attention to directing the District Military Command to coordinate with departments, branches, and organizations at the district level, communes and towns to continue to launch and effectively implement the Movement for the Poor, effectively implement social policies and military rear policies. The Que Phong District Military Command coordinates with local Party committees and authorities to pay attention to supporting materials, forces and creating conditions for the family to deploy construction, striving to complete and hand over before December 22, 2023.
