Checking the progress of housing construction for meritorious people and the poor in Nghia Dan
On March 20, the working delegation of Steering Committee 1838 of Nghe An province led by Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command inspected the implementation of the Program to mobilize and support the construction of houses for people with meritorious services, the poor, and people with difficult housing circumstances in Nghia Dan district.
PerformProgram to mobilize and support house construction for meritorious people, the poor, people with difficult housing circumstances in the period 2023 - 2025, Nghia Dan district has completed 234 houses (187 new houses, 47 houses repaired).
Of which, there are 221 houses under the Social Mobilization and Support Program (174 new houses built, 47 houses repaired); 13 houses under the National Target Program for Socio-Economic Development in Ethnic Minority and Mountainous Areas.
Currently, in the district there are 117 houses that need to be repaired and built under Program 1838.

Working in Nghia Dan district, the delegation of the Provincial Steering Committee of Program 1838 went on a field trip and inspected a number of households receiving support to build houses in Nghia Tho commune, Nghia Trung commune and Tan Hop block, Nghia Dan town.
Through the actual inspection, Colonel Phan Dai Nghia - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command acknowledged the results of Nghia Dan district in mobilizing and supporting the construction and repair of houses for people with meritorious services, the poor, and people with difficult housing circumstances in the area.
The Commander of the Provincial Military Command also pointed out some limitations in the propaganda work in some localities and units that have not been focused on; the direction, inspection and supervision work has not been regular; the review and update of housing demand data has not been timely and still arises; the mobilization of resources to implement the Program in some localities and units has not been very effective.
To implement the Program on schedule in the coming time, Colonel Phan Dai Nghia suggested that the Standing Committee of Nghia Dan District Party Committee should focus on directing the implementation more drastically and urgently.
In particular, continue to update and implement directive documents of all levels; proactively review the needs for new construction and repair; review and identify resources to ensure timely implementation; diversify forms of mobilization to support localities and people in implementing this humane and extremely necessary program.
At the same time, develop a detailed plan and clearly assign responsibilities to each member of the steering committee according to the correct principles; Regularly check and urge implementation, associated with the responsibilities of leaders in agencies, units and localities.
