In 2022, civil defense work, response and overcoming consequences of incidents,natural disasterSearch and rescue have been deployed drastically and synchronously by agencies and units; all three stages of "prevention, response, and overcoming consequences" have been well implemented.Provincial Military CommandRegularly proactively develop plans, promptly mobilize forces and means to participate in responding to and overcoming the consequences of incidents and natural disasters occurring in the area; recognized and highly appreciated by Party committees, authorities at all levels and people.

Typical units in civil defense, response, overcoming consequences of incidents, natural disasters and search and rescue in 2022 include: Military Commands of districts and towns: Ky Son, Thanh Chuong, Do Luong, Hung Nguyen, Yen Thanh, Dien Chau, Hoang Mai Town and Regiment 764... Coordinating and collaborating units include: Provincial Border Guard Command, Provincial Police, Provincial Forest Protection Department; Division 324, Brigade 414, Brigade 16, Economic - Defense Group 4, Warehouse K77.

Regarding military guard work, units stationed in the area regularly maintain serious and effective military patrol and control activities, contributing to strictly implementing military discipline and State laws, ensuring political security, order and social safety in the area, creating a healthy cultural environment and close military-civilian relations.

In 2023, Nghe An is forecast to continue to be a key area for natural disasters. In the first 3 months of 2023, Nghe An province experienced 3 fires and explosions, 2 river and sea accidents and drowning. In addition, opposition groups continue to step up sabotage activities, religious security has many complicated factors; the situation of drug trafficking with hot weapons on the western border... affects the political stability, order and social security of the province.

Concluding the conference, comrade Nguyen Van De - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee proposed: In 2023, agencies and units continue to thoroughly grasp the leadership resolutions of Party committees at all levels; strengthen the dissemination and education of State laws; military regulations; strictly maintain combat readiness, closely coordinate between the Army, Police, and Border Guard to grasp the local situation; advise Party committees and authorities at all levels to promptly and effectively handle all situations related to political security, order, and social safety; strictly maintain the rescue and relief duty regime according to regulations, be ready and proactive with the motto "4 on-site".

Agencies and units shall strictly implement the contents of training, drills, and drills on natural disaster prevention, control, and rescue; fully prepare forces, means, and ensure logistics and techniques, be ready to participate in handling incidents and natural disasters that occur and mobilize to respond and overcome consequences in other places when ordered; proactively grasp, accurately forecast, and have specific plans and programs for natural disaster recovery and reconstruction of people's lives in areas affected by natural disasters.
