The Politburo appointed comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung as Secretary of the Dak Lak Provincial Party Committee.

This decision was announced by comrade Truong Thi Mai - Politburo member, Head of the Central Organizing Committee - in Dak Lak on the afternoon of May 7.

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Truong Thi Mai said: "Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung is a young cadre, with 24 consecutive years of working in the Central Highlands provinces, so he has a lot of knowledge and experience in his work. In his new position, I hope he will promote his strengths to further develop Dak Lak."

In his acceptance speech, comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung thanked the Politburo for their trust, but emphasized that this was also a challenge for him.

"Dak Lak has a special position in terms of economy and politics, so I myself strive to develop the locality to be rich and beautiful. To do my job well, I hope to receive support from previous leaders and colleagues," said comrade Trung.

Comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung, 48 years old, from Vinh Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district, Nghe An province, currently residing in Buon Ma Thuot city (Dak Lak). Comrade Trung has a bachelor's degree in law, a master's degree in public administration, and a senior degree in political theory.

Before 2004, he was an officer at the Department of Justice of Dak Lak province. After Dak Lak province was split into two provinces, Dak Lak and Dak Nong (in 2004), he was transferred and assigned to the Department of Justice of Dak Nong.

After 17 years working in Dak Nong province, comrade Nguyen Dinh Trung held many important positions, before returning to Dak Lak as Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
