Nghe An Provincial Military Command gives Tet gifts and supports house repairs for poor households in the West
(Baonghean.vn) - During 2 days (January 31 and February 1), the working delegation of the Provincial Military Command led by Colonel Pham Van Dong - Deputy Secretary of the Military Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Provincial Military Command visited and presented Tet gifts to poor households in Ky Son, Tuong Duong and Con Cuong districts.

In Huu Lap and Chieu Luu communes (Ky Son district), Luong Minh (Tuong Duong), Chau Khe (Con Cuong), Colonel Pham Van Dong presented 60 Tet gifts to policy families, families with revolutionary contributions, families with especially difficult circumstances, and young people preparing to join the army with difficult circumstances. Each gift is worth 750,000 VND. This is the amount of money donated by officers and soldiers of Nghe An Provincial Military Command to support people with difficult circumstances to celebrate the traditional New Year of Tan Suu 2021.

On this occasion, the delegation of the Provincial Military Command also visited, presented gifts and wished a happy new year to the units stationed in the province. The Military Region 4 Command presented 80 million VND to support 2 households in Huu Lap and Chieu Luu communes, Ky Son district to repair their houses after the flood in October 2020.

Responding to the Appeal Letter of the Provincial Party Secretary, promoting the tradition of solidarity, mutual love and mutual assistance of the Nghe An Provincial Armed Forces with a heart towards the poor, each officer and soldier of the Provincial Military Command donated 1 day's salary. Up to now, the Provincial Armed Forces have raised more than 900 million VND to help poor households celebrate the Lunar New Year 2021.
