Ky Son Border Guard helps households evacuate their houses to avoid floods
(Baonghean.vn) - Border guards have supported people in evacuating their houses and properties in a timely manner to avoid flooding, and have also dispatched forces to deal with other situations if the water continues to rise.
On August 4, in My Ly commune (Ky Son), due to the impact of storm No. 3, there was heavy rain, along with rising floodwaters from upstream, causing flooding and traffic disruption in My Ly commune.

The floods caused landslides, damaging more than 10 houses. In Xang Tren and Hoa Ly villages, My Ly commune, some houses were damaged by landslides and had to be urgently evacuated.

In order to help people overcome the consequences of floods, on the night of August 3 and the morning of August 4, My Ly Border Guard Station sent forces to coordinate with local authorities to help people in Hoa Ly and Xang Tren villages move their properties and houses to a safe place, and at the same time arrange temporary accommodation for people.
