Nghe An Border Guards give subsidies to martyrs' families in Que Phong district
(Baonghean.vn)- On February 24, authorized by the Nghe An Border Guard Command, Tri Le Border Guard Station coordinated with local Party committees and authorities to visit and present subsidies to the family of martyr Leo Van Luan - former Lieutenant Colonel, Head of the Administrative Staff of Tri Le Border Guard Station.

Martyr Leo Van Luan enlisted and worked at the Nghe An Border Guard in March 1990 and died on September 4, 2020. With his dedication and service in the Border Guard, he contributed to firmly protecting territorial sovereignty, maintaining political security, order, and social safety, building political bases, and developing the economy and society in the border areas of special difficulties and hardships. On January 4, 2023, the Prime Minister of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam signed Decision No. 02/QD-TTg, awarding the "Fatherland's Gratitude" Certificate to martyr Leo Van Luan.
Representatives of the working delegation kindly visited and shared the sacrifice and loss of martyr Leo Van Luan's family, and at the same time presented support funds to the martyr's family according to the regime with an amount of more than 470 million VND.
The activity shows gratitude and honor to those who contributed to the revolution and martyrs who sacrificed their lives for national sovereignty and border security, for the peace and happiness of the people./.
