Ky Son district soldiers help people move their houses to resettlement areas.
On December 28 and 29, officers and soldiers of the Military Command of Ky Son district, Nghe An province, together with the militia and self-defense force, supported the people of Vang Phao village to move their houses to a new place.
Gold Floatbelonging to Muong Tip commune, Ky Son district, currently has 70 households living along the mountain slopes and Nam Mo river. Previously, due to the impact of prolonged heavy rain, cracks appeared on the mountain in Vang Phao village, increasing the risk of landslides during the rainy season, threatening the lives and livelihoods of households.

After the survey and site leveling process, the Party Committee and the government of Ky Son district coordinated with the Military, Police and Border Guard forces to mobilize people to move to the new resettlement area.
Because households live in steep areas, the dismantling, transporting and gathering of houses must be done manually. To ensure that the people of Vang Phao village can move to a new safe place before the upcoming rainy season, the District Military Command has mobilized hundreds of officers, soldiers and militia to support families at high risk of landslides, policy families, single-parent households and families in special circumstances to dismantle their houses and move their belongings.
