Eliminate regulations on penalties for some acts in the construction sector
According to the new Decree of the Government, a number of regulations on penalties in the fields of construction investment; exploitation, processing and trading of minerals for construction materials; production and trading of construction materials will be abolished.

The Government issued a Decree21/2020/ND-CPAmending and supplementing a number of articles of Decree No. 139/2017/ND-CP dated November 27, 2017 of the Government stipulating administrative sanctions for violations in construction investment activities; exploitation, processing and trading of minerals as construction materials, production and trading of construction materials.
Accordingly, the Decree21/2020/ND-CPThe regulation on imposing a fine of 30-40 million VND for the act of selecting organizations and individuals who do not have the capacity to participate in the activities of establishing construction investment projects; examining construction investment projects; the regulation on imposing a fine of 20-30 million VND for construction organizations that commit one of the following acts: not having a labor contract for individuals holding key positions as prescribed; key positions do not have certificates of professional training in the specific field of the project as prescribed....
