Ministry of Health adds regulations on groups of people who have not been vaccinated against Covid-19
According to the new guidelines of the Ministry of Health, people with a history of anaphylaxis of grade 2 or higher (specify the allergen) are contraindicated for vaccination with the same type of Covid-19 vaccine.
The Ministry of Health has just issued Decision 3445/QD-BYT, amending and supplementing the Temporary Guidelines for Pre-screening ExaminationCovid-19 vaccination.
In the new decision, the Ministry of Health replaces the Covid-19 Vaccine Pre-Vaccination Screening Form. According to this new guideline, people with a history of anaphylaxis of grade 2 or higher (specifying the allergen) are contraindicated for vaccination with the same type of vaccine.

In addition, the Decision also clearly states that people in the group that delay vaccination include:
- Had Covid-19 within 6 months
- Received another Covid-19 vaccine within the past 14 days
- Have a chronic disease that is getting worse
- Severe immune response impairment, end-stage cancer, splenectomy, taking immunosuppressants, high-dose corticosteroids (equivalent to or greater than 2 mg prednisolone/kg/day for at least 7 days)
- Acute illness
- Pregnant women, women who are breastfeeding
The Ministry of Health's guidelines stipulate that people must be transferred for vaccination and monitored at the hospital if they have: History of allergy to any allergen; history of underlying disease, chronic disease that is stable; history of blood clotting/hemostatic disorders or are taking anticoagulants; ≥ 65 years old; abnormal vital signs (specify) such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, breathing rate..., abnormal; abnormal signs when listening to the heart and lungs; impaired perception.
The Ministry of Health said that on July 15, 21,815 more people were vaccinated against Covid-19. Thus, a total of 4,185,623 doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been vaccinated, of which: The number of people who have received 1 dose is 3,890,947 people.
