(Baonghean.vn) - The night street of Cao Thang street, Vinh city is expected to create a new look for the development of Vinh city in the future, worthy of being a "Safe - friendly - quality - attractive" destination for people and tourists inside and outside the province, Mr. Tran Ngoc Tu - Chairman of Vinh city People's Committee affirmed.
On the evening of October 2, at Cao Thang Street, Vinh City People's Committee held the opening ceremony of Cao Thang night street, Vinh City.
Attending the opening ceremony were comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; comrades representing provincial departments, branches and sectors.
On the Vinh City side, there were comrades: Phan Duc Dong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the Vinh City Party Committee; Tran Ngoc Tu - Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, Chairman of the Vinh City People's Committee, along with representatives of Vinh City departments and offices, leaders of wards and communes, and a large number of people and tourists.

After 5 months of directing and organizing the construction of a night street on Cao Thang Street, Vinh City People's Committee has conducted research, surveys, developed plans, collected opinions from local people and businesses, and invested in upgrading infrastructure.
With the determination and efforts of units and organizations, Cao Thang night street has been basically completed according to plan. On September 25, 2019, the City People's Committee conducted a 1-week trial run of the night street, attracting great attention from residents and tourists.

Cao Thang night street has 114 business locations, specifically: From Vinh market intersection to Nguyen Xien street intersection, there are 70 business locations including: ready-made clothing stores, shoes stores, leather goods, bags, briefcases, hats of all kinds, souvenir stores of all kinds.
From Nguyen Xien intersection to Hong Son - Cao Thang intersection, there are 44 business locations, including refreshment, snack, and local specialty stores.
