More than 450 million VND is the amount that press agencies directly contributed and mobilized to hand over to help the poor welcome the Year of the Cat. At the Nghe An Spring Newspaper Festival 2023, the Nghe An Journalists Association presented a plaque to support the above amount through the Nghe An Provincial Fatherland Front. With that amount, the agencies: Nghe An Newspaper, Nghe An Radio and Television Station, Song Lam Magazine, directly gave gifts to poor households and families in difficult circumstances in localities in the province.

The remaining amount of 12 million VND was donated by the branches, newspapers and magazines, and the Nghe An Journalists Association directly gave Tet gifts to poor households in Hung Tay commune - Hung Nguyen district. This is a meaningful gift from the association members and journalists working in the province to the poor families, with the desire to share and bring a warm Tet to the people.
