(Baonghean.vn) - Based on the nature of the work, agencies and units in the province all arrange for a minimum number of staff to work at the office, while the rest work at home with the support of information technology solutions.

According to the reporter's records, on the first day of implementing Prime Minister's Directive 16 "On implementing urgent measures to prevent and combat the Covid-19 epidemic"All agencies and units in the province strictly comply with regulations.

At the Provincial People's Committee Office, comrade Dang Thanh Tung - Member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee, Chief of the Provincial People's Committee Office said: Currently, the leaders of the Office all work at the agency; and at 12 departments, offices, and units, based on the functions and tasks of the departments, the leaders assign specialists to work at the agency, each department has a maximum of 2 people; and specialists working at home must register to bring documents home for processing, and at the same time, if there is urgent work, or cannot be handled at home, they must go directly to the agency for processing.

In particular, at the One-Stop Department, the Provincial People's Committee Office has arranged 2 staff members to be on duty regularly. To limit close contact, the Provincial People's Committee Office also arranged a document reception box at the gate of the Provincial People's Committee. When agencies and units come to submit documents, they will take epidemic prevention measures such as measuring body temperature, washing hands with sanitizer, etc. and putting documents and papers in the box. TImplementing Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister on urgent measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic, the People's Committee of Nghe An province issued an official dispatch to implement, in which it requires the heads of agencies and units, based on their functions and tasks, to be responsible for developing a plan to arrange for people to work directly at the agency; in other cases, implement a plan to work online at home. At the clerical and one-stop departments of agencies and units, arrange the minimum number of people according to regulations to receive records and documents. For the forces participating in the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, it is necessary to ensure that 100% of them maintain work according to assigned tasks.

At the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, the unit's leaders said that they have arranged 50% of cadres and specialists to work online and produce products; 50% work at the headquarters; and at the same time, use online meeting room software to carry out general leadership and direction throughout the agency.

The spirit of implementing Directive 16/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister and the Official Dispatch on implementation of the Provincial People's Committee is also seriously implemented by the Department of Foreign Affairs. Comrade Nguyen Hai Duong - Director of the Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs said: Civil servants in charge of non-important matters work online at home.

In addition, according to the reporter's records, the members of the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of the Department of Foreign Affairs, including most of the comrades in the Board of Directors and leaders of departments, still ensure 100% work at the agency.

Thereby, performing the following tasks: monitoring the epidemic prevention work in Vinh City as assigned by the Provincial Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control; coordinating the implementation of epidemic prevention and control work for foreigners entering Vietnam; performing consular work; and simultaneously implementing Covid-19 prevention and control work right at the agency.

In districts and cities, through surveys by reporters, local leaders have also proactively taken measures to prevent and control the epidemic in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister and the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee.

Comrade Le Van Giap - Chairman of Que Phong District People's Committee said that all leaders from the district to the commune work at the agency as required, and the leaders of some specialized departments of the District People's Committee need to handle necessary work, so the heads of the departments work at the agency such as: Head of the Department of Agriculture to direct the inspection of rice pests and diseases...; while the deputy heads and specialists of the departments of the District People's Committee work at home via the Zalo group of each department.

Regarding the situation in the district, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Que Phong district said that people are basically doing very well, limiting going out of their homes. On March 31, the district also welcomed 170 people from Laos to quarantine at the quarantine point in the area.

This is also the general spirit that is being directed to be implemented in Thai Hoa town. Comrade Pham Chi Kien - Chairman of the Town People's Committee said that the Standing Committee of Thai Hoa Town Party Committee requested departments, offices, organizations, agencies, unions, wards and communes to review the necessary workload to have a plan to arrange the minimum number of people and develop a working plan. Comrades working at home must have work connections through the application of information technology. For example: At the Thai Hoa Town People's Committee, heads, deputy heads of departments and officials who are handling unfinished work of an urgent nature related to the people work at the office; while other officials work at home./.
