Localities receive and bury martyrs' remains

Martyr Hoang Van Loi was born in 1952 in Dien Thinh commune, Dien Chau district, Nghe An province. In early 1968, the young Hoang Van Loi and his family settled in Soi Duoi hamlet, Tho Hop commune.
On January 1, 1971, when he had just turned 18, young man Hoang Van Loi volunteered to take up arms and join the troops "Splitting Truong Son to save the country".
After training in the North, soldier Hoang Van Loi and his unit, Company 1, Battalion 4, B5 Logistics Department, marched to the South to directly fight the American invaders and soldiers of the Saigon puppet regime.
On October 10, 1972, in an extremely fierce battle on the Southern Front, soldier Hoang Van Loi fought with all his might and heroically sacrificed himself.

With outstanding achievements in fighting to protect the Fatherland, martyr Hoang Van Loi was awarded the First Class Liberation Feat Medal.
After the ceremony to receive the remains of martyrs from Hai Lang district cemetery, Quang Tri province to his hometown for a memorial service, martyr Hoang Van Loi was buried at the cemetery in Soi Duoi hamlet, Tho Hop commune, Quy Hop district.

Martyr Nguyen Dac Tri was born in 1941, his hometown is in Hamlet 2, Dang Son Commune, Do Luong District. From 1963 to 1966, he studied at Nghe An Agricultural College. From 1967 to 1968, he worked as an officer at Nghe An Provincial Department of Agriculture, and joined the Party in May 1969. In June 1969, responding to the sacred call of the Fatherland, he volunteered to work as an economic expert to help Laos, participating in the battle on the Plain of Jars battlefield.

On September 17, 1971, while on a combat mission, he heroically sacrificed himself on the Plain of Jars battlefield in Laos. After 3 years of lying on the old battlefield, in 1974, the Party and State of Vietnam brought him to rest at the Vietnam-Laos International Martyrs Cemetery in Anh Son District, Nghe An Province.
Martyr Nguyen Dac Tri was awarded the Second Class Military Exploit Medal by the Party and State, the Freedom Medal of Laos and many other Certificates of Merit.
