Localities organize training conferences on election work

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of April 19, localities held a training conference on professional work in the election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term.

*In Vinh city, organized 3 classes, each class has 150 students who are team leaders and secretaries of ward and commune election teams. The students learned the following contents: General regulations, some new points of the Law on Election of National Assembly and People's Council deputies at all levels; expected structure, composition and allocation of National Assembly deputies, People's Council, People's Council election units; instructions on making voter lists; propaganda and election campaign work.

Also at the training course, trainees were equipped with information on synthesizing election results, handling violations of election laws and enforcement provisions.

* In Do Luong,The training program content has been guided by the District Election Council, including documents on the election of deputies to the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2016-2021 term. New points of the Law on Election of Deputies to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels; Specifically, the number of National Assembly deputies and the number of People's Council deputies at all levels; the number of women nominated as candidates; regulations on the responsibilities of organizing agencies in carrying out election work for candidates; principles and procedures for voting; additional election of National Assembly deputies and People's Council deputies; handling of violations of election laws and implementation provisions.

*In Dien ChauThere were 300 delegates who were key officials at the district level, heads of election committees and sub-committees, heads of district-level election teams and 10 southern communes of the district attending the conference.

The delegates were presented with 5 contents on points to note in implementing the Election Law and guiding documents of the Central agencies; Organizations in charge of elections; Professional guidance on election organization; Key tasks from now until election day; Reporting regime before, during and after election day. In particular, special attention was paid to the main new points of the Election Law on standards, expected structure, composition, and allocation of delegates...

Difficulties and problems in election preparation and organization were fully resolved at the conference.

The conference received the following basic contents: List of election documents issued by the Central, provincial and district levels to serve the election work; new points of the Law on Election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Councils at all levels; some key and core contents in the election work, especially the professional work on the election of National Assembly Deputies and People's Councils at all levels; reporting regime before, during and after election day; application of software to synthesize election results of National Assembly Deputies and People's Councils at all levels.
