The announcement from the Traffic Police Department stated: Due to the direct impact of storm No. 10, currently on the Nghi Son - Dien Chau - Bai Vot - Ham Nghi - Vung Ang - Bung - Van Ninh - Cam Lo expressway, it is raining heavily, the road surface is slippery, some spots are flooded, and visibility is limited.
In addition, this is a highway with only 2 lanes, no emergency lane, and incomplete rest stops. It is recommended that vehicles do not travel on the highway during the time when storm No. 10 makes landfall from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. tonight.
When traveling on the highway, always control the speed, keep a safe distance, if there is an accident, quickly move the vehicle to the emergency lane, turn on the warning lights, if the vehicle breaks down on the main route, turn on the warning lights, place the cone at least 150 meters behind the vehicle and call the hotline number 19008099 of the Traffic Police Department for support.
During the time the storm makes landfall (North Quang Tri - Nghe An from 7pm tonight), vehicles are advised not to travel on the highway, exit the highway and find a safe shelter until the storm passes before continuing the journey.
