How many more admission quotas do universities have based on graduation exam scores?
The 2021 university admission score based on the 2021 high school graduation exam score is expected to increase compared to 2020, partly because some schools do not have many quotas for this method.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Science recruits 3,530 students, but only about 1,155 students are recruited through graduation methods, the rest are recruited through 5 other methods.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics, recruiting 6,250 students but only considering 1,170 students fromgraduation exam; 4,680 targets are recruited by other methods, mainly considering academic records.
However, many universities reserve a large portion of their admission quotas based on graduation exam results.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology recruits 5,000 students, but the method of considering the National University's capacity assessment scores accounts for the most, up to 70%; Graduation exam admission accounts for 30-60% of the total enrollment target.

At the two largest medical schools in the South, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, only a few candidates are admitted by direct admission.
This year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy recruits 2,345 students, of which 2,214 students are recruited based on graduation exam results and 151 students are recruited by other methods.

Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry reserves about 50% of its enrollment quota for graduation exam admission, or about more than 1,700 quotas.
Ho Chi Minh City University of Agriculture and Forestry recruits about 5,000 students, but only 50-60% of the total enrollment is based on graduation.
As for private schools, the admission quota for the graduation exam score method is still low, because these schools mainly consider admission based on academic records, and even consider admission based on academic records in multiple batches such as Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, etc.
