Quarantine according to Directive 16 in Son Thanh commune (Yen Thanh) from 6:00 p.m. today, August 9

Given the situationCovid-19 epidemicWith the risk of spreading to the community in Son Thanh commune, this afternoon (August 9), the Chairman of Yen Thanh District People's Committee issued a decision to establish social isolation according to Directive No. 16/CT-TTg dated March 31, 2020 of the Prime Minister for Son Thanh commune on implementing urgent measures to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic.

Implementation time starts from 6:00 p.m. on August 9, 2021.

Mr. Nguyen Huu Sau - Chairman of Son Thanh Commune People's Committee said, after receiving the decision of the District People's Committee on applyingDirective No.16of the Government, the Commune People's Committee immediately implemented the next steps, which is to set up epidemic control checkpoints and propagate to the people. Accordingly, the commune will set up 4 checkpoints on main roads and 8 checkpoints in hamlets.

"Starting from 6 p.m. on August 9, all residents in Son Thanh commune must practice social distancing according to Directive 16 of the Government to prevent and control the Covid-19 epidemic," said Mr. Nguyen Huu Sau.

It is known that from July 20 to August 9, Son Thanh commune had 23 cases.positiveCovid-19, of which 3 cases are officers working in the quarantine area. Currently, the commune is quarantining more than 85 people, 230 of whom are related to the cases./.
