Social isolation in Quynh Lien commune, Hoang Mai town due to 4 Covid-19 infections

At the meeting, the leaders of Hoang Mai Town People's Committee reported on the Covid-19 epidemic situation in the area. Accordingly: On the evening of July 28, the area had the first Covid-19 patient, HTT (in Dai Dong hamlet, Quynh Lien commune; announced on the morning of July 29)... In addition, there were 92 people who had visited and received treatment at the General Hospital.Minh Anbetween July 13 and July 26.

As of 4:00 p.m. on July 29, the townHoang Mai3 new Covid-19 patients were discovered. Of these, 2 new patients were people who visited patient HTT at Minh An General Hospital; 1 new patient is the nephew of patient HTT.

Through investigation and tracing, the town has 25 F1 cases related to patient HTT. Particularly with the 7-year-old patient who was recently discovered to be the niece of patient HTT, there are up to 35 F1 cases in the same neighborhood and extra class.

Concluding the meeting, Associate Professor, Dr. Duong Dinh Chinh - Deputy Head of the Provincial Covid-19 Prevention and Control Department, Director of the Department of Health requested Hoang Mai town to continue to be proactive, step up investigation, and trace people related to the infected case; take samples for testing; clearly classify subjects to immediately quarantine F1 cases; immediately spray disinfectants and detoxify the areas where the patient lives and passes through.

Hoang Mai town needs to continue mobilizing the entire political and social system to participate in the fight against the epidemic; promote communication work, raise awareness and the role of people in fighting the epidemic; strengthen monitoring and strictly isolate people returning from epidemic areas; prevent the risk of the epidemic entering factories and industrial parks in the area... The town also needs to pay special attention to centralized medical isolation for 35 young F1 cases who are the group of friends and extra classes of the newly discovered patient.

After an urgent meeting, the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Nghe An province and the Steering Committee for Covid-19 Prevention and Control of Hoang Mai town decided to isolate Quynh Lien commune according to Directive 16 to fight the epidemic./.
