District Youth Union officials in Nghe An excel in winning the National Volunteer Award
(Baonghean.vn) - In Hanoi, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union has just organized the National Volunteer Day and awarded the 2018 National Volunteer Awards. Mr. Nguyen Tat Hung - an excellent Do Luong District Youth Union officer won the individual award.
The National Volunteer Award is an annual award organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union in coordination with the United Nations Volunteer Program, to honor collectives and individuals with outstanding contributions and achievements in volunteer work for community life, making practical contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland.

Surpassing more than 400 individuals with application documents for award consideration, Mr. Nguyen Tat Hung - an excellent officer of Do Luong District Youth Union was one of 10 individuals to receive the award this time.
It is known that after graduating from the Faculty of Social Work at Quy Nhon University, in September 2016, Nguyen Tat Hung returned to work at Do Luong District Youth Union, in charge of the Association - Team. In May 2017, he founded the group "Do Luong shares love", actively promoting volunteer activities, helping people in difficult circumstances in the district, becoming a typical volunteer group in the locality.

Nguyen Tat Hung is also the initiator of the charity music night movement in Do Luong. After more than 1 year of establishment, the group "Do Luong shares love" has successfully organized 13 charity music nights in the district, combined with calling for donations of about 1 billion VND, helping dozens of families in difficult circumstances in Do Luong.

Sharing after receiving the award from the Central Youth Union, Nguyen Tat Hung said: "I am honored and happy to receive the National Volunteer Award in 2018. This is a great source of encouragement for me to try harder on the upcoming journey, sincerely thank everyone". Mr. Hung also said that he will spend all the prize money of the National Volunteer Award, 5 million VND, to buy shirts for poor students in the area./.
