Need mechanisms and policies to attract talented people to work at Fatherland Front agencies at all levels

On the morning of December 8, in Vinh city, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held a conference to summarize the emulation activities of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committees of the North Central provinces in 2020, including 6 provinces: Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue.

On behalf of the leaders of Nghe An province, speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Van Thong - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the positive contributions ofMTTQat all levels. The Fatherland Front at all levels innovates methods and content of activities, diversifies propaganda work, mobilizes people and organizes patriotic emulation movements, campaigns strongly oriented towards the grassroots, mobilizes and promotes the strength of the great national unity bloc.

The movement is prominent.for the poor; building new rural areas, civilized urban areas... Social supervision and criticism work has been strengthened and become a key, regular activity, affecting the socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security of the province; contributing to building a clean and strong Party and government at all levels.

Highly appreciating the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for organizing the Conference to summarize emulation activities of the North Central region cluster in Nghe An, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Van Thong also said that the practical experience of the Fatherland Front discussed at the conference will be lessons of profound practical value for the Fatherland Front at all levels to supplement the plans and solutions to carry out the tasks of the Fatherland Front in each locality in the coming time.

At the conference, the Fatherland Front of 6 provinces in the North Central region discussed and affirmed many innovations in methods and contents of activities in 2020, continuing to affirm the role and position of the Fatherland Front in the political system.

The Fatherland Front of the provinces has done a good job of gathering, consolidating and promoting the strength of great national unity to participate in preventing and fighting the Covid-19 pandemic as well as overcoming the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic; mobilizing people to support the Central region affected by natural disasters.

Nghe An province alone has mobilized and received a total amount of money and necessities equivalent to more than 76 billion VND for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic; supporting the Central region affected by floods with a total amount of money and goods up to more than 135 billion VND.

Units in the North Central emulation cluster have also been creative, improving the quality and effectiveness of the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas".

Units in the cluster also care for the poor with many good and sustainable ways, such as supporting the construction of Great Solidarity houses; supporting breeding cows, savings books, supporting job creation, and creating sustainable livelihoods for the poor.

Units in the bloc also have many innovations in promoting democracy, representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of the people; supervising and providing social criticism, participating in building a strong Party and government; people-to-people diplomacy; promoting the application of information technology in the work of the Front...

There needs to be a mechanism to attract talented people for the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Concluding the conference, comrade Ngo Sach Thuc - Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front said that in 2020, in the context of many difficulties and challenges, thanks to innovation in content and methods of operation in a diverse and creative direction, the Fatherland Front of 6 provinces of the North Central region has created many outstanding results.

The Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front emphasized a number of tasks in 2021 for the Fatherland Front of the 6 North Central provinces, focusing on building the great national unity bloc, especially uniting people of all ethnic groups and religions to jointly achieve the common development goals of each locality as well as implementing policies and guidelines related to the people.

In addition, units need to focus on managing and using the Fund for the Poor and the Relief Fund, avoiding violations; continuing to innovate and innovate campaigns and emulation movements to create practical results and improve the effectiveness of social supervision and criticism.

2021 is the yearelectorNational Assembly deputies and People's Councils at all levels, term 2021 - 2026, the task set for the Fatherland Front of provinces is to proactively advise the local Election Committee to do this work well.
