Need to monitor the content of the sectors promised at the Provincial People's Council meeting
(Baonghean.vn) - Evaluating the 5th session of the 17th Provincial People's Council, voters said that the Provincial People's Council pointed out a number of weaknesses and shortcomings, and the sectors promised to accept and have solutions to handle them. The problem is to monitor the implementation of the promise.

At the question and answer session, delegates reflected on the current status of forestry land management and use as well as forest protection work.
Representatives of departments and branches also answered quite satisfactorily the questions raised, showing that the government dared to face the reality and not cover up crimes. The realities of deforestation and violations of forest protection laws raised at the parliament also made us, the people, feel both necessary and heartbroken when many officials and localities violated them.
We, the people, not only expect the Provincial People's Council to always closely grasp the issues at the grassroots level to make adjustments and direct implementation, but also, through the People's Council meetings, in addition to providing appropriate content and conducting focused questioning, we also need to pay attention to supervising the implementation of issues raised after the meeting. Because if any policy is only discussed at the parliament, the issue of practical implementation needs effective supervision.
Regarding forest protection, I think that the forest rangers, border guards, police as well as local authorities need to actively coordinate to disseminate information to the people more widely, especially knowing how to choose the right time. For example, before and after Tet, before the harvest season...
In villages and hamlets, people are almost fully aware of many activities of subjects intending to destroy forests or encroach on forest land. The problem is that the authorities need to have some kind of propaganda and mobilization solution so that people voluntarily report crimes, detect subjects with chainsaws, intending to destroy forests and report them promptly.

Through following the 5th session of the Provincial People's Council (term XVII), I personally found that the questions raised by the delegates related to various areas of life and society were very close to the actual situation in the locality at the present stage.
I highly agree with the management method of the Provincial People's Council Standing Committee, the high awareness and responsibility of the Provincial People's Council delegates.
For the people in the mountainous areas, we mainly depend on the forest for our living. Therefore, at the question and answer session, I was particularly interested in the question and answer session for the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (DARD). I strongly agree with the opinions of the delegates for the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development, clarifying the existing problems and solutions for effective management, planning, land allocation, and forest allocation to the people.
However, the answer to the reason for the existence is still general... not specific in detail. For example, it is necessary to clarify the reason for the delay in granting forest land use right certificates to people for economic development, who is responsible for this, and how to do better on this issue in the future?
We, the voters, hope that when a policy or plan is made, it must be put into practice, not just "empty promises", promises and then left there, especially the issue of allocating forest land to people in mountainous areas, only then can we ensure the security of the people.
