Nghe An traffic police arrest woman carrying 800 ecstasy pills
The Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police said it had just arrested Ha Thi Dao (born in 1967), residing in Na Ca village, Muong Noc commune, Que Phong district, for illegal drug trafficking, and seized 800 pink pills.
Previously, at 10:00 p.m. on April 26, 2025, the Que Phong Traffic Police Team under Traffic Police Team No. 1, Traffic Police Department of the Provincial Police was on patrol duty at Km06 of Provincial Road 544B in Muong Noc Commune when it received a report from the public about a subject with suspicious signs of illegal drug trafficking circulating on the road in Na Cong Village, Muong Noc Commune.

The task force presided over and coordinated with Muong Noc Commune Police to deploy forces to block both ends. At around 10:30 p.m. the same day, a middle-aged woman appeared with unusual behavior.
Upon discovering the police, the subject turned around and ran towards the field to escape. The task force immediately chased after him, successfully subdued him and brought him to the Muong Noc Commune Police Station for further investigation.
Initially, the subject gave a evasive statement to deny the crime, however, through the professional measures of the police force, the subject bowed her head and confessed that she was Ha Thi Dao (born in 1967), residing in Na Ca village, Muong Noc commune. On her person, the subject had 800 pink pills weighing 75.91 grams.
According to Dao's confession, the drugs were bought from a stranger.
Currently, the Traffic Police Department has handed over the subject and evidence to the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department of the Provincial Police to continue investigating and handling according to the provisions of law.
