On the morning of October 1, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station, under the Provincial Traffic Police Department, launched a campaign to strengthen inspection and handling of violations of traffic safety and order by school-age children.

Recently, the situation of students violating the law on traffic order and safety has had many complicated developments, causing many serious traffic accidents. In order to continue to seriously and effectively implement Directive No. 31/CT-TTg dated December 21, 2023 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the work of ensuring traffic order and safety for students in the new situation, the direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the Traffic Police Department issued a peak plan to ensure order,traffic safetyfor school age
Peak implementation period from October 1 to October 31, 2024.

Based on the plan of the peak period, Dien Chau Traffic Police Station will strengthen inspection and handling of violations of traffic safety order for middle school and high school students, parents, guardians, people who give vehicles to students who are not qualified to drive, vehicle owners and parents who transport students who violate regulations on road, inland waterway and railway transport.
In the road sector, patrols will be conducted on main traffic routes in urban areas, inter-village and inter-commune roads, district and provincial roads, national highways; areas near schools, areas where many young people gather to violate traffic order and safety.
The handling focuses on violations such as: Driving without a driver's license; not wearing a helmet; carrying more people than the prescribed number; not obeying traffic light signals; driving in a row; going in the wrong direction; honking, revving the engine; driving a two-wheeled vehicle on one wheel; using a kickstand or other objects to scrape the road while the vehicle is running; weaving, swerving; gathering to disturb public order, illegal racing...
Along with that are the acts of handing over vehicles to unqualified drivers; students and parents violating regulations by stopping and parking vehicles on the road, on sidewalks, and at crossroads, causing traffic jams and posing a potential risk of traffic accidents...
Inspections and handling of violations are carried out thoroughly and maintained regularly and continuously, creating positive changes in awareness and compliance with traffic safety laws of parents and students, ensuring strict compliance with the law and minimizing traffic accidents involving students.

In cases of non-compliance with control, obstruction and resistance of law enforcement officers and other violations, full and clear records will be recorded for handling according to regulations.
