Update new recommendations in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases for specialized doctors in Nghe An
(Baonghean.vn) - On December 20, the Workshop "Update new recommendations in the treatment of heart failure and chronic coronary syndrome" was held by Vinh City General Hospital in collaboration with Servier Company; with the participation of leading experts in Vietnam's Cardiology.

Speaking at the opening of the workshop, Dr. Nguyen Thua Tien - Deputy Director of Vinh City General Hospital emphasized: "Cardiovascular disease is a disease that appears silently but leaves serious consequences for the health and life of the patient. In recent years, the mortality rate due to cardiovascular diseases has increased in developing countries, including Vietnam. Currently, on average, out of every 4 adults in Vietnam, at least 1 - 2 people are at risk of cardiovascular disease.
Faced with that situation, Vinh City General Hospital organized a workshop to update professional knowledge on cardiovascular diseases, improve professional qualifications and patient management for doctors and pharmacists in Nghe An province.
